Good morning everyone. We’ve got some beautiful weather right now, hopefully that will lead to some improved fishing. The surf has had a good bit of bait, with plenty of small Jack Crevalle and Spanish Mackerel around to keep you busy, and the warmer temps may produce some sporadic appearances by larger fish like Tarpon. Pompano fishing remains a bit slow, but some anglers are managing a few on sand fleas, Fish Bites, and the new Fish Gum. Snook fishing in the inlets has been solid on flare jigs and live bait, along with some Bluefish as well. Offshore has been a bit quiet, with the occasional Sailfish and decent numbers of Kingfish in 70′ to 80′ of water. The Indian River has been producing Redfish around the shorelines, particularly north of Harbor Branch, and decent Seatrout catches along the spoil islands. Some larger Snook have been haunting the flats, and hopefully the warmer temps will make them more active. Good luck out there.
