Good morning everyone. Fishing in the Indian River has picked up a bit of late, with large numbers of mullet staging up for their annual migration providing forage for plenty of Snook and others around docks and shorelines, with early morning and evenings being your best bet with the heat. Fishing for Mangrove Snapper around the bridges has also been productive, with best results coming to those fishing at night with live bait. The surf has been difficult due to a persistent swell, but with a fair bit of bait around those looking for Snook have scored here and there, particularly around the inlets. The inlets have also yielded decent numbers of Snook, at night on flare jigs and during the day on live bait. Tarpon have also been around on the outgoing tide in the evenings as well. Offshore has been a bit of a lost cause due to the larger waves, with even larger waves projected going forward, unfortunately. Good luck out there!
