Good morning everyone! The last few days of calmer weather coupled with sunny conditions have led to good fishing in the Indian River, with lots of Seatrout still around, and increased numbers of Redfish showing up as well. Snook have ben present as well, and the coming warmer temps should get them a bit more active ( don’t forget that season is closed ). Pompano have been active on the flats as well, mostly caught on goofy jigs near the inlets. Pompano fishing in the surf has picked up as well, mostly on sand fleas and clams, with the Cove area being among the more consistent. Offshore, there has been scattered Sailfish, with a few nice Dolphin mixed in as well. The Kingfish bite has been solid as well, with live greenies producing the best. Most of the fish are in the 15 to 20 pound range. Hope everyone gets out soon, as the winds will pick up over the weekend. Good luck out there.
