Good Morning,
The Sailfish bite offshore has been great this past week, many fish have been seen from 80′-150′ out of Stuart. Live Pilchards has been working well, but there have been a number of fish caught trolling naked Ballyhoo. There have been some Mahi mixed in as well in 150′ – 300′. There have still been some Cobia around on the shallow reefs, Cobia jigs, live pilchards or Crabs have worked the best. Permit can still be caught at the Boils although it has slowed down a little.
The Snook fishing on the beach and at Stuart Inlet has been great, again Live Pilchards are your best bet, but they are still able to be caught on artificial and fly. There have been quite a few Tarpon north of the inlet, a lot of fish are being caught on fly and live pilchards. Remember to give everybody some room on the beach these Tarpon are finicky, try to leave at least 150 yards in between you and another boat fishing for them.
