Synopsis: High pressure will shift away from the Mid Atlantic coast as the next frontal boundary approaches on Thursday. This will cause winds to steadily veer and become a gentle to moderate southeast to south breeze. The front will weaken as it reaches the area, but a brief northeast wind surge will occur Thursday behind the front. This will cause seas to build slightly once again Thursday night into Friday.
