Good morning,

It was windy this weekend with the passing front and not a lot of people got out and fished. Before the front passed there were many sailfish and Mahi’s being caught. We should have more reports as the week goes on with the upcoming Pelican Yacht Club tournament. It will still be rough for the rest of this week.

The inshore fishing was good this weekend as long as you could get out of the wind. This weekend marked the first BackCountry Fishing Association Tournament for 2017. They had a record 36 boats and many Trout, Snook and Redfish were caught. Most fish were caught from the Merril P Barber Bridge in Vero and as far south as the power plant.
