Good afternoon!

The offshore bite has still been slow with reports of a few Dolphin and Sailfish in 80-120ft of water. The Bottom fishing has been great in 60-100ft of water. Many nice Mutton’s, Mangroves, and Gags have been caught. Reports from the Bahamas have been Great also! The Tarpon are on the beach right now, White or Black Hogy lures will work well. If you can get live Pilchards use them! The Snook are also on the beach as long as there is clean water. Remember the Snook will sit right in the surf so you don’t have to cast that far. The Trout bite has slowed down by Round Island but you can still catch a few good fish.

A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL REMAIN SOUTH OF THE AREA AS SURFACE TROUGHINESS IMPINGES FROM THE NORTH. THIS WILL PROMOTE PREVAILING SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK WITH OFFSHORE MOVING SHOWERS AND STORMS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. WEST WINDS INCREASE OVERNIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TIGHTENS FROM THE NORTH TO BRING CAUTIONARY CONCERN FOR SMALL BOATERS. ADDITIONAL LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO FORM OFF THE CAROLINA COAST THIS WEEKEND TO HELP BRING A WEAK FRONT INTO THE AREA TOGETHER WITH UNSETTLED WEATHER. WINDS WILL SHIFT NORTHEAST BEHIND THE FRONT SUNDAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. .GULF STREAM HAZARDS…NONE.
