Good Morning!
Offshore:
Its been rough out there the past couple of days. The Dolphin bite has slowed down but a few fish have still been caught. The Kingfish bite south of Stuart has been steady. Other than that there is not much to report.
Inshore:
The Snook bite has still been insane on the west side of the river in Fort Pierce. Pink topwaters and DOA Shad tails in “407” with a 1/4oz Chartreuse jig head have been the go to baits. The gator trout have been mixed in with the Snook. A few Reds and Snook have been caught on Sailfish flats in the past couple of days. In the St Lucie over slot fish have been caught on DOA C.A.L. Swimbaits in natural colors. The night time bite has been great in Fort pierce on the dock lights. Slot Snook and big Trout have been caught on small white flies, you can also use live shrimp or smaller pilchards if you don’t fly fish. The bridges in the Stuart area have been producing many good fish on live pilchards or flair hawks.
