OFFSHORE:
Not much to report with these winds, If you want to brave the weather you should be able to find some Dolphin and Sailfish.
Inshore:
The winds have been bad but if you can find a place to hide you will be able to pluck off a few Redfish and Trout North of North bridge, The night time Snook fishing hasn’t been the best, but this wind should have them chewing. Docklight fishing in Jensen has been good as long as you can find a pocket of clean water, Snook, Trout, Redfish and bluefish are in the lights in Jensen.
Freshwater:
The Bass Have been hitting swimbaits in the 4″ to 6″ range. The 4″ spooltek has been my go to the past couple of days it has produced a bunch of nice fish, Spinnerbaits are also good choice for the bigger bass.
Weather:
HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN CENTERED BETWEEN BERMUDA AND THE SOUTHEAST U.S. COAST THROUGH LATE WEEK…THEN SLOWLY SHIFT FARTHER SEAWARD THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A MODERATE TO FRESH SOUTHEAST BREEZE AND POOR TO HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TODAY. WINDS AND SEAS WILL THEN DIMINISH SOME…BUT CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT OPERATION ARE EXPECTED TO BE POOR OVER THE WEEKEND.
