Good Morning,Offshore over the weekend was a the typical summer time pattern there were a few reports of some dolphin in like 80ft on the reef with a few kingfish and cobia mixed in live bait has been the bait of choice there has been blue runners at 10a and 12a with some greenies on the beach around the power plant.The bottom fishing has been good to the south of St.Lucie inlet around the Loran Tower with some nice snapper and a few grouper.Inshore there were a few trout reported around Bear point with D.O.A. Cals.There has been a few snook around the inlet and bridges on the out going tide with live bait.The south jetty in Ft.Pierce has had a few snook,flounder,and a few reds around live shrimp has produced the best.Todays weather and tide info-
Synopsis: A GENTLE TO MODERATE SOUTH-SOUTHWEST BREEZE WILL CONTINUE EARLY THIS WEEK AS CENTRAL FLORIDA REMAINS BETWEEN A STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER THE DEEP SOUTH AND THE ATLANTIC RIDGE AXIS OVER SOUTH FLORIDA. RAIN CHANCES WILL REMAIN ABOVE AVERAGE WITH STRONG WIND GUSTS OCCURRING IN FAST OFFSHORE MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE ATLANTIC RIDGE AXIS WILL GRADUALLY MOVE BACK NORTH MID WEEK WHICH WILL CAUSE WINDS TO BACK MORE TO SOUTH-SOUTHEASTERLY AND DECREASE THE THREAT FOR OFFSHORE MOVING STORMS…ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF CAPE CANAVERAL.
