Good Morning,Offshore the last few days there has not been much to report with the windy conditions but a few people got out and had a few nice dolphin to report with a sail mixed in in like 150 to 200ft to the south of Ft Pierce.The weekend should calm down with just a swell coming in which should make the dolphin fishing good and slow the king bite down.Inshore the snook fishing has been good around the bridges and the jetty in Ft.Pierce on the out going tide on jigs and live bait.The reds have been around to the north of North bridges with a few nice trout mixed in live bait and topwater have produced the best around 1st light.The inlet has had a few tarpon around at night live mullet and jigs have produced the best. Synopsis: THE AXIS OF A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE OVER THE WEST ATLANTIC WILL WEAKEN THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND BUT WILL MAINTAIN A GENTLE TO MODERATE EASTERLY BREEZE ACROSS THE ATLANTIC WATERS OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE EASTERLY FETCH WILL EXTEND WELL INTO THE ATLANTIC AND WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH AN EASTERLY SWELL INTO THE LOCAL WATERS. POOR CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT OPERATION WILL CONTINUE FOR MUCH OF THE WEEKEND BUT WILL SLOWLY IMPROVE THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK AS THE RIDGE CONTINUES TO WEAKEN AND ONSHORE FLOW DIMINISHES.
