OFFSHORE:
THE DOLPHIN BITE HAS CONTINUED TO BE VERY GOOD. STILL HAVING MULTIPLE REPORTS OF BIG BULLS AND COWS OUT THERE IN NUMBERS. COBIA FISHING HAS CONTINUED TO BE PRETTY PRODUCTIVE WITH PLENTY OF FISH BEING FOUND ON THE BEACH FREE SWIMMING. HAVE ALSO HAD QUITE A FEW REPORTS THAT THE MUTTON SNAPPER HAVE BEEN BEING CAUGHT IN SOME NICE NUMBERS AND HAVING SOME SIZE TO THE FISH AS WELL. OUR OWN CAPT SCOTT CRIPPEN FOUND SOME NICE TARPONS ON THE BEACH ON A RECENT CHARTER. ROLLING AND FEEDING ON SOME MULLET SCHOOLS MIGRATING DOWN THE COAST LINE. TUNA FISHING AT THE CORNER HAS STARTED TO REALLY PICK UP. HAVE HAD A FEW BOATS REPORT SOME NICE FISH BEING CAUGHT IN THE 40-70LB RANGE. WITH ONE REPORT OF A 125LB'ER BEING LANDED. LOOK FOR TEMPERATURE BREAKS AND UTILIZE YOUR ROFFS REPORTS TO LOCATE THOSE BREAKS PRIOR TO. GROUPER OPENING DAY IS QUICKLY APPROACHING!! ARE YOU READY?!
INSHORE:
BIG SNOOK AND TROUT HAVE CONTINUED TO BE PLENTIFUL NORTH IN THE RIVER, PARTICULARLY ON LIVE BAITS. CAPT BRUDDY TYSON AND CAPT CRIPPEN HAVE BOTH REPORTED MULTIPLE SHOTS AT BIG TROUT ON RECENT CHARTERS ON LIVE BAIT. THE TRIPLE TAIL BITE HAS BEEN PRETTY DECENT AS OF LATELY. TARGET VISIBLE CRAB TRAP BUOYS AND CHANNEL MARKERS SOUTH IN THE RIVER (SOUTH OF SOUTH BRIDGE) FOR YOUR SHOTS.
