Good Morning Fishing Offshore has been outstanding! Dolphin have been thick with multiple boat having to release fish because the fish box was full! Have some bait chunked up and ready if you hook up with one and remember to keep it in the water while you prospect for other Mahis. Scattered sailfish have been caught round these schools as well. There has been numerous blue marlin sighting in the past week around the Bonita schools. If your catch a smaller Bonita try to quickly bridle it up and pitch it back out, slow or bump trolling near and around these school could raise a blue or even a wahoo. Kingfish have been prevalent on the loran tower reef along with some nice mangroves and mutton snappers. Spanish mackerel have been sparse, but there has been plenty of bluefish off the beach for a good rod bend. Have a jig ready because the Cobia should be moving down the beach with the manta rays. In the surf there has been a great pompano bite, along with plenty of whiting. Inshore fishing for snook has been good up in the St. Lucie, even with all the freshwater being dumped from the locks. Unfortunately Salinity tests yesterday from the Roosevelt bridge showed zero levels of salinity. Knowing this if i was fishing inshore I would move farther north up the Indian river toward the power plant and beyond. There has been a decent trout bit up toward round island with a few flounder mixed in. High tide at the St. Lucie Inlet is at 11:13 am and low tide is at 5:32, till next time good luck and tight lines!!! JW
