Good Morning!!! Happy St. Patricks Day!!! Summer is knocking at the door with tempatures rising and fishing remains good both inshore and offshore. Cobia are piled up on the sand pile, chum them up and throw jigs to them. Reports of an early permit run has been reported using hook up jigs tipped with live crabs or large shrimp. Offshore the dolphin bite remains hot, with a couple small wahoo reported. Daytime swordfishing is a good bet with a 330 lb sword caught straight out of St. Lucie inlet on a large squid tipped with a black and green skirt. Nice sized Kingfish have been caught in 60-90 feet. Inshore fishing remains good up on the west bank near county line and up toward Walton road for trout and redfish. Big 8lb trout was reported south of middle cove with a few juvenile snook, these fish were caught on a black and orange mirrodine from mirrolure. There are a few boats venturing to the corner this morning searching for yellowfin tuna, hopefully we will have a good report for you tomorrow. Don't for get to mark your calendars for June 7th as Capt. Pat Price will be on hand to talk about Yellowfin Tuna! Low tide today at St. Lucie Inlet is at 11:59 and high tide is at 6:06 p.m. Till next time good luck and tight lines!!! JW
