Good Morning!!! Fishing this weekend was great all around both inshore and offshore. For starters Capt. Pat Price of Daymaker Charters had a stellar night and morning on the swordfish last night, catching three in the early hours of Monday before we all had to get up to start our work week. The summertime wahoo bite has been decent with this moon, with a bunch of fish caught over the weekend at first light or sunset. Roger Scott got his first wahoo while high speeding on saturday with a black and purple yozuri bonita! Kingfish have been plentiful on the beach and out to 60 ft. on live bait. Mutton and Grey snappers have been on the loran tower ledge as well as some nearshore rubble piles. There has been plenty of lobster on the beach and visibility has been crystal clear. Tarpon and snook have been on the beach and inlets, use storm swim shads in the olive color for these fish. Inshore the trout bite remains hot up around the power lines using DOA paddle tails in the root beer with chartreuse tails after using top water plugs in the first few hours of sunlight. Till next time good luck and tight lines!!! JW
