Good Morning!!! Those of you that were lucky enough to sneak out Thursday before the front moved in, fishing was stellar. Sailfish with thick and hungry in 120 ft with captains reporting multiple bites and hook ups. Dolphin were prevalent and seemed to be everywhere, in the 10 to 20 pound range!! Inshore remains red hot as i fished yesterday up toward the power lines catching 3 reds, 2 snook, and a couple of jacks in just over an hour. The wind will be blowing this weekend so if you can find some shelter behind a spoil island or up against the mangroves fishing should remain good. Use darker baits were you find the bottom churned up by the wind. DOA Airheads and gulp in the root beer with chartreuse tail worked for me as well as a big top water either the Zara spook or a chug and spook at first light. Throw first light jigs or red tail hawks at night around the bridges during the change of the tides. Till next time good luck and tight lines!!! JW
