Good Morning!!! The first sign of Pompano are here, and the beach is red hot. Spanish mackerel, jacks, ladyfish, snook, and tarpon round out the bite on the beach. A bunch of gaffer side dolphin were caught yesterday in 145-195 feet of water and numerous captains reported a good sailfish bite. Fish for snook on the seawalls east of the roosevelt bridge with mullet or lipped plugs such as the yozuri crystal minnows and rapala xr12. Inshore around midway rd. and walton rd. the trout bite has been good with doa cals and 1/4 oz shrimp. Great turnout for Capt. Mike Holliday last night, our next seminar is oct. 29th with Brad Fitzgerald on Snook Fishing. Till next time good luck and tight lines! JW
