Good Morning!! Fishing was great all around this weekend, as the fall bite is in full effect!!! Bait has been endless with everywhere you look schools of mullet being pushed around the ever lurking predators. Starting off with the beach with large schools of tarpon and snook in close busting on baits between St. Lucie inlet and Walton rocks. Sunday one could easily put a bend in the rod all the way from Hobe Sound beach to Fort Pierce inlet as Bonita, Jacks, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Cero Mackerel, and Sharks working in unison with the diving birds on bait from 5- 30 feet of water. Black-Sea Bass, Kingfish, and Cobia were caught on the near shore reefs and wrecks from 60-110 ft. Dolphin were caught from 70 all the way out to Pushbutton Hill, along with Blackfin tuna and skip jacks. Finding the flying fish will help you locate those fish. The Sailfish bite has started to heat with numerous boats scoring multiple hook ups, again find the flyers and look for tempature breaks. Inshore snook around the docks in the evening has been good and tarpon at the crossroads during the incoming tide. Trout and Redfish will round out this report with fish being caught up around boyscout island and north of nettles island use mullet pattern DOA terror-eyez and Rapala bxm10's or xr-10's for those fish!!! Remember our next seminar is Oct. 15th with Capt. Mike Holiday!!! Till next time good luck and tight lines!!! JW
