The Mullet run is continuing to keep anglers busy inshore, there has been Snook, Tarpon, Trout and Redfish pushing the schools of Mullet around. The Trout bite around the power plant has been exceptional with DOA shrimp, Topwater or Live Mullet. Dock lights in the evening have been holding Snook but they have been finicky has been tough to hook them. Tarpon at dusk or early morning have been rolling near the Inlet, Crossroads and on the beaches to the South. The outgoing tides have been producing a better bite than an incoming tide, the Redfish have been seen around Mud creek and Sailfish flats at the top of incoming tide and into the outgoing tides. Offshore fishing has been getting better as the waters are cooling off bringing the Sailfish and there have been some larger "Gaffer" Dolphin being caught as well. There has been a color change in shallow and seems to have been holding the Dolphin and Sailfish and out to about 140ft. Many boats this time of the year are fishing a spread including At least two teasers, one of which always being a dredge and either a second dredge or a 9" squid chain and naked swimming ballyhoo rigged with circle hooks for Sailfish in close to their teasers. Both locations for Whites Tackle will now be selling OluKai flip flops, come in and try on a pair or two!! Good Luck -Sean
