Many anglers over the weekend took advantage of the calm seas and favorable fishing conditions. Offshore the Dolphin were scattered but a few were able to be caught, There were some large weed lines and good conditions between 100-300ft with a lot of bait around but these areas seemed to not be holding any larger fish over the weekend. The Kingfish and Wahoo fishing south of Stuart, from Jupiter to Boynton have been steady with a report of a 90# Wahoo caught. Live bait has been more plentiful recently with the cleaner water coming back. Tarpon, Snook and Large Jacks chasing Glass Minnows and small Pilchards in the surf have kept most anglers busy and continues to be a really good bite. Middle cove and North has been holding nice Trout and some Redfish on the flats and Snook around the mangroves and dock structures, Gulp jerk shads, topwater plugs, gold spoons and live baits have all proved to be effective.
