Good morning anglers,
The inshore fishing has been getting better despite the fresh water discharge, with snook and tarpon in the inlet on the incoming tide. These fish have been caught using any diving plugs for instance, Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow, or a Rapala X-Rap. Redfish have been caught to the north of the inlet around the spoil islands on DOA soft plastics and Gulp shrimp. The offshore fishing has been heating up with King Mackerel on the beach. Cobia's have been along the reef, also there has been a few wahoo's caught there as well on live bait. The snapper fishing is expected to be great on the next moon.
