As the summer weeks continue so do the storms and high winds. There have been some fishing caught offshore, but not in numbers like we would like to see. There have been a lot of Sailfish offshore for this time of year but the Dolphin fishing has been relatively tough. Bottom fishing is starting to pick up and some good catches of snapper and groupers are being reported. There were some good Yellowfin Tuna caught off of Lucaya, Bahamas this past weekend during the Scales Open tournement. Local inshore fishing has been pretty good, Snooks on live bait by the inlet and the crossroads have been big, and it seems the Trout are still hanging around to the north and still biting on the soft plastic baits. Redfish have been being caught up in Fort Pierce North of the North bridge. Now is the time we should start seeing glass minnows on the beach with the big Tarpon and Snook to follow. Tight Lines -Sean
