Good morning, we haven't had a ton of fishing news this week. The weather prevented a lot of offshore fishing action this week, however the last few days have been fishable. The snapper fishing is still going strong. Mangrove snappers have been the focus, but there have been trigger fish, grouper, assorted other snappers, and even a sheepshead. The dolphin fishing is also improving. I talked to a gentlemen in Stuart yesterday that had fished in the morning. He caught a mixed bag of small dolphins and a forty pound bull. He was pulling a rubber fish dredge and said the big dolphin was all over the dredge. They finally got the dredge out of the way and fed him a ballyhoo. It shows that having a good teaser can change your day from being a slow day, to having a great catch.
Have a great Friday,
Geoff
