Good morning, I finally heard an offshore report yesterday. Jimmy Hardee on the Challenge texted me that they had caught a sail, some small blackfin, and three dolphins by noon yesterday. He was trolling ballyhoo off Stuart. I also heard, further south toward Jupiter, that there has been a pretty good bite of sailfish everyday for the week or so. Some boats have caught as many as seven. Most of those boats are live baiting them.
As for the inshore report, snook, sea trout, and redfish have been ambushing mullet on the flats. Look in the pot holes, channel edges, and mangrove shorelines for these predators attacking finger mullet as they move through the area. DOA Bait Busters in mullet colors and any sort of topwater plug work great to entice a bite from any laid up gamefish.
We still have reels on sale so stop by to get a great deal on one of many different brands. We also have a rack of rods that are on sale, so stop by and save some money.
Have a great day,
Geoff
