Good morning anglers,
The offshore fishing was good over the weekend with good clean warm water. There was sailfish and cobia along the reef, but there was heavy current along the reef. the bottom fishing was good with the water warming up, there were grouper caught in 100ft to 180ft. The dolphin fishing was slow with a few caught but not the numbers we should be seeing for this time of year.
The inshore fishing has been good but it has been a early bite with the temperatures rising. there has been trout and redfish along the spoil islands to the north of the inlet in the deeper water. The snook fishing has been good in the inlet and a few fish moving onto the beach, there has also been tarpon on the beach and in the inlet on the outgoing tide.
There has been a new addition to the store with a free diving section featuring OMER products including fins, masks, spear guns, wetsuits and other accessories. There has also been some rearranging at the store with the archery dept. gone the fly fishing has expanded and moved to fill the old archery section.
Good Luck, Jon
