Good morning, determined boaters made it offshore yesterday morning to find an abundance of blackfin tuna, dolphin and a some sailfish. The boat Reliance’s crew reported a catch of some dolphin, the boat Dakeri’s crew caught 6 dolphin, 2 were gaffers and Mike Yavorsky reported they caught 7 dolphin and a sailfish in 80′-120′ scattered north to south.
Inshore, Devin Moberg and Kadri Benton reported a few snook last night off Ft. Pierce’s south jetty. Carl Pizzarello reported catching some flounder along the docks on the south side of the inlet yesterday morning. We have heard that the St. Lucie inlet has been producing some good catches of snook over the last few days. The water remains a little on the dirty side in the lagoon, but reports from folks fishing south indicate indicate some good action with snook, jacks, and a few bluefish.
