Good morning, reports from offshore remain few and far between lately. Bad weather and sea conditions have contributed to a sustained time period of nobody fishing offshore. The possibility of small craft warnings forecast for the weekend most likely will hamper anglers anxious to get out and find some spindle beaks, dolphin and wahoo. Not to mention bottom fishing enthusiasts anxious to find some grouper or amberjack.
Inshore, snook, flounder, and redfish have been reported by anglers in spots that are protected from the wind. There are a number of below the slot size snook in the inlet now. The south side of the inlet to the Coast Guard station has been producing some fun action for anglers using lighter tackle. Jack crevalle have been busting up the mullet schools and there have been a few tarpon in and around the Ft. Pierce inlet.
