Good morning, the forecast for today is looking good for offshore boats to venture out and see what they can get into. Offshore reports have been scarce because of all the bad weather we have had. The last reports came to us from New Smyrna Beach and were actually good for dolphin, sailfish and wahoo and should be good out front for us too.
Inshore, the fall mullet run continues to bring jack crevalle, snook, tarpon, redfish and ladyfish to the table in the lagoon. The south jetty at Ft. Pierce has been a good spot to be in the early a.m.. Anglers at the jetty have been catching a few snook on live mullet and jigs. The bridges have also produced some snook and jack crevalle. Sand perch anglers are starting to catch a few around the bridges on shrimp. Trout and redfish have been found in the northern lagoon around the St. Lucie County line.
Stop in and have a look at some of the new clothing lines like: Patagonia, Howler Bros., Pelagic, Simms, Rivers West and some new White’s Tackle logo shirts and hats.
Have a great day, Donald.
