Good morning, wet and windy weather conditions dominated the treasure coast yesterday, keeping boats in port with more wind in store for today. Offshore reports are non-existent as rough seas persist. All the rain we have received the last couple of days along our coastline is pouring out of the inlets, making for some dirty water offshore.
Inshore, brackish water has slowed down the fishing slightly. Tarpon, snook, jack crevalle and bluefish have been prevalent in the inlet and around the bridges and turning basin. Fishing around the docks in the lagoon can be productive with all the mullet schools around.
Good prizes, good food, good paybacks for top 3 winners = A GOOD TIME for the 4TH Annual White’s Tackle Inshore Classic Tournament this weekend. The captain’s meeting will be held on Friday October 21ST at Cobb’s Landing at 6:30 p.m. on the second floor. Fishing will commence at safe light on Saturday October 22ND. Entry spots are still open and we will take entries at the captain’s meeting.
Have a good day, Kadri.
