Good morning, the offshore fishing has improved over the last two days with good water temperatures and clear water helping it out. Zack Sebeny reported catching 2 dolphin and 3 kingfish in 80 feet of water yesterday. They were using live bait they found on the beach in very clear water. Lucky anglers have found dolphin scattered across a wide area, with no one spot to target. Kingfish and amberjack are dominating the reefs and wrecks in 55′-120′.
Inshore, Krisy Fulp caught 2 snook on jigs last night, fishing the south side of the inlet. Jonathan Repass reported catching 1 snook on a jig last night as well. Snook fishing in and around the inlet, jetty and bridges has been decent lately and anglers anticipating the opening of snook season in September are beginning to hone their skills.
