Good morning, offshore fishing was a little on the slow side over the weekend. Erik Hedal and Scott Meitner caught some tile fish in 600 feet fishing out of Ft. Pierce. Tom Dicks fishing out of the St. Lucie inlet in Stuart also reported catching 2 tile fish in 750 feet. Some anglers found a few kingfish and bonito offshore yesterday, but all in all it was not very productive.
Inshore, Amanda and Holly Sebeny caught 2 snook last evening off the south jetty in Ft. Pierce using a green and white flare hawk on the falling tide. Tarpon were active at the mouth of the inlet and were also hitting a flare hawk. Mark Berggren caught a 30 inch trout on a live greenie in the vicinity of Little Jim bridge. Black Margate have been hitting on live shrimp around our areas bridges and the south jetty.
Have a great day, Donald.
