Good morning, we have not heard to many reports from offshore the last couple of days. The last report I received from the northern tip of the Bahamas was not to encouraging. They caught some under size yellowfin tuna and missed a white marlin bite. A trip to the northern Bahama’s is a hit or miss proposition at best and in these days of high fuel prices if you are planning a trip, we are happy to pass on to you any information we can to help make your fishing there rewarding. Inshore, everyone is talking about the trout fishing. There is an abundance of trout both large and small trout in the lagoon right now. We are getting plenty of reports of some excellent snook catch and release action, both in the lagoon and the inlet. A few snapper have been reported a long the channel edges as well as some black margate.
Have a great day, Donald.
