Good morning,
Just when you think the weather is getting better another cold front makes it’s way down with it’s friend the wind. Offshore has begun to slow down with the main body of sailfish to our South. Boats are still picking up ones, twos, and threes, but I haven’t heard of much more than that in the last week. The dolphin fishing is hit or miss. There were a few nice ones caught on Monday. Wahoo fishing on the bank has been really good, most the fish are in the 30-50# class with a few logs thrown in. We are still hearing of some cobias starting to show up but nothing to speak of yet.
Inshore has been tougher this week. We fished to the North toward Sebastian yesterday and only had a couple reds and a couple of trout. The South winds made it hard to find cover. Mark Dravo pinned down some big trout yesterday in the Fort so hopefully our Spring fishery will be early this year. The pompano fishing to the South is still good and I have seen a few this week to the North.
Have a great day!
