Good morning, Because of high winds yesterday we don’t have a report from offshore yesterday.
Inshore, the story is a bit different. Last evening and the previous night the snook in the inlet and the turning basin were chewing. The wall as it is known had anglers backed up waiting their chance to throw a jig for a keeper snook. The inlet at Ft. Pierce also had a heated snook bite. Ole line sides could be caught on jigs and bombers from the south jetty. Spoons were working well for some bluefish and mackerel as well off the south jetty. Lam Nguyen and Dale Sorensen reported a strong redfish bite in the lagoon near Vero Beach. They caught the redfish on Marsh Works bayou thumpers sunrise slam color.
