Good morning,
It looks like some breeze is on the way accompanied by some cold air (just in time for the SKA Nationals, go figure). I haven’t received too many offshore reports from here. The ones we did get were more of the same, several sails, scattered dolphin, and bonitas. Some of the kingfish guys have been catching a bunch of nice wahoos on the wall in Jupiter while pre-fishing for kings. The wahoo fishing across the stream has also been firing off, so break out the high-speeds!!!
Inshore the redfish are still THICK! Redfishing has been great for several weeks. We have been finding some nice tailing fish at the bottom of the tide. Snook fishing is very poor in the river but ok in the inlet areas. There have been great numbers of trout on South Indian River Drive that have been very receptive to slow suspending plugs and twitch baits. I have seen a few pompano skipping already so hopefully they will start a push in the river soon.
Below is a youtube link we filmed in the Everglades over Halloween weekend.
