Good Mornin’ There wasn’t much reported to me yesterday on the offshore or inshore scene, but I did hear a few things. As for the offshore report, some scattered dolphin, mahi-mahi, where caught in as close as 80 feet and as deep as 300 feet. People caught them trolling medium ballyhoos with or without a bright colored skirts over the head of the bait. There were also a few resident sailfish release while fish in the same water as the dolphin. The amberjack have been prevalent of the offshore wrecks. Anglers have had the best luck on butterfly jigs and live blue runners for bait. For those of you that want to stay closer to the beach, there have been a few kingfish captured while slow trolling livebait, like sardines or threadfins, along the beach in 20 to 40 feet of water.
Good Luck this weekend,
Geoff
