Good morning, the weekend turned out to be very windy and less than desirable fishing conditions offshore. Never the less folks fished the St. Lucie County’s Chamber of Commerce Fishing Frenzy out of the Ft. Pierce inlet. The winning dolphin weighed in at 47+ pounds other dolphin were caught as well as some kingfish. We heard that there were cigar minnows at the 10A buoy and the smoker kings could be found on the north beach.
Inshore, not a lot to report about over the weekend. We did hear of some good snook action in the turning basin in Ft. Pierce on live pilchards. There have been a few snook on the south jetty but high winds kept most anglers from venturing out.
Have a great day, Donald.
