Good Morning, unfortunately I have nothing to tell you about offshore yesterday because of high winds. As soon as sea conditions calm down I can safely say that you should be able to get back to some fine Cobia fishing along our areas beaches. Bottom fishing for Grouper and AJ’S out on the reefs should get back to normal spring levels and of course the May bite for Dolphin should only get better.
Inshore, The Trout continue to bite despite all the high winds. One angler told me yesterday that they caught over 60 Trout using a combination of a float and a DOA shrimp. DOA manufactures a product called a Deadly combo which is just that, but any stick or rattle float and DOA shrimp will work. Of course the Snook are still hitting live bait and jigs and we heard of some Sheepshead and Margate off the catwalk on the south bridge.
Have a great day, Donald.
