Good Morning, with improving water temperatures we are hearing of increasingly better fishing offshore. Yesterday the reports centered around Kingfish. Cap’t Tris Colkett on board the charter boat Last Mango reported a limit of Kingfish and AJ’s, Cap’t Moon Crossman aboard the charter boat Independence also reported a good catch of Kingfish. The kingfishing seems to be best in 75′-80′ mostly north of the inlet. Taylor fishing aboard the boat Reel Faith reported a release of a White Marlin.
Inshore, You can still find Pompano and Whiting in the surf along area beaches and we are hearing more reports of good Snook action. Snook can be found at the south jetty in Ft. Pierce and along the south side of the inlet. One angler told us on Monday night along the south side of the inlet that the Snook fishing was the best he had ever seen, he was fishing with red tail hawks. Trout and Redfish are improving in the lagoon as well.
Have a great day, Donald.
