Good morning, Fishing was pretty good around the treasure coast yesterday. On the inshore scene, there were a few redfish and an 8 pound trout caught on the west side of the river down south around Midway road. All the fish were caught on a DOA CAL shad in copper crush with the NEW Slayer Inc. jig head in copper. As for the nearshore scene bluefish and spanish are plentiful. Sea Striker gotcha plugs and silver spoons have been the best baits. The fish may be around a while longer too. The water is cold the the current has it running to the south so it probably wont clean up in a hurry. Those fish will stay in that water as it push away from here. I didn’t hear anything on the offshore scene yesterday, but the dolphin and cobia should be showing up anytime! Look for them as the wind switches to the south east and the cold water pushes to the north and the clean warm water pushes in.
Have a great day!
