Good morning,
There are still plenty of sails out front and to the South for those who want to partake. Along with the sails are dolphins, a few wahoos, and plenty of bonitas. The kingfish bite on the reef and in the 50-60′ stuff has been really good. There are still a few Spanish macks and tons of bluefish on the beach if you want to do some light tackle fishing.
Inshore fishing has been pretty good despite the nasty fish kill we have had. The redfish haven’t seemed to mind the cold a bit and have been biting. The trout fishing in deeper water has been great. Snook fishing is the weak link and they still haven’t come around since the first batch of cold weather. The hottest bite inshore as we speak is pompano. Most guys throwing bucktails have been catching over a dozen and most are good size.
Have a great day!
