Good morning,
It sounds like the fishing picked up a little bit offshore. Several people reported multiple sailfish bites the last few days. Robby Moore fished on the Shovel Boy a day or so ago and caught 3 out of 6 sails off of the power plant. They also had a dolphin or two and most others we spoke with caught several dolphin. There are still some cobia around although not in the quantities of the week before. There is plenty of bait on North Beach to catch on your way out. The tarpon and snook fishing is getting better by the day on the beach.
Inshore, has been getting better everyday as well. More and more mullet are pushing our way and we all know what that means. Top water fishing should be great in the evenings all the way through October. The redfish still aren’t here in great numbers but should start improving any day. Some really nice snook are in the Mangroves waiting to ambush the mullet moving through. I have heard of several trout in the 10 pound class released last week.
Get out there, it’s getting good!
