Good morning,
It looks like it might get a little breezy this weekend. However, that is probably not a bad thing since it has been so hot. Offshore fishing is still great, especially for August. There are still plenty of cobia being caught, as well as tarpon and permit on the beach. A little further off, there has been plenty of nice kings and several cobias caught on the reef. A little further than that has been a plethora, yes a plethora of sailfish and a few decent dolphin. To the south of us from Stuart to Palm Beach there has been an incredible wahoo bite. Many boats have been catching between 4-6 wahoo in the 40-60# class, and one was caught out of Stuart last Sunday that was 101 pounds. WOW!!!!
Inshore, snook remain the number one players. Our guys from the shop have been punishing the snook every evening, most all over size, and a few in the thirty pound class. There was several nice schools of redfish reported along Indian River Drive, and some nice trout in the Bear Point arena.
Have a great weekend!
