Good Morning, reports from offshore yesterday indicated that the cold water is still on the bottom. That nasty green slime has appeared on the bottom as well. One angler this morning told me he caught some small Kingfish trolling Bally-hoo with a blue and white seawitch in 55′ just north of the 12 buoy. There are still plenty of Sardines and Greenies around the beaches and the buoys. I also talked with someone this morning and they found a spot void of the cold water on the bottom and caught a decent number of Snapper.
Inshore, Trout fishing is beginning to improve. One angler told me they caught some Trout this morning using the the Big-fish C-SHRIMP in the gold color. Speaking of the Big-fish products we just received a new shipment of their stuff to include the 4" & 6" slammer tails, swim-tail mullet and the c-shrimp. We are also getting some excellent reports of Redfish action north of the turning basin towards Harbor Branch. Some good Mangrove Snapper can still be had along the Intracoastal Channel edges.
Be sure to stop in and check out our new Aftco Guy Harvey line of clothing.
Have a great day, Donald.
