Good Morning, Welcome to all the anglers fishing the SKA divisional tournament here in Ft. Pierce this weekend. Fortunately there is no short supply of Kingfish here. We heard there were plenty in 60′ of water yesterday and there are plenty of Sardines to go around. Kingfish can also be found off the Jupiter Inlet. Big schools of Silver Mullet have shown up on area beaches and with that, the Tarpon are feasting. Both on the beaches and in the inlet Tarpon can be found along with good numbers of Snook, on the south jetty last night. Anglers there were using green back windcheaters and Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnows for plenty of catch and release action. We have not heard of any bottom fishing reports from yesterday or any good action on Dolphin sorry.
Inshore the story remains the same plenty of Snook to go around and some really good Tarpon fishing. Congratulations to Carrie Gates who caught and released her first Tarpon around 50# fishing with friend Kadri Benton in the Ft. Pierce inlet night before last, on a live Sardine.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
