Well it looks like we might finally get some well needed rain. I didn’t hear a whole lot yesterday. I know the Floridian and a few other boats went across yesterday and all reported slow fishing. It sounded like it was pretty stormy over there plus we are coming off of a full moon. Hopefully it will pick back up. There are some nice kingfish on North and South Beach as well as plenty of bait and Spanish Mackerel.
Inshore fishing has still been very consistent from here to Vero. There have been plenty of big trout caught lately up to 9 pounds and a ton of nice snook from the top slot size to over-sized giants. I haven’t heard of a really solid redfish report although people are catching a few here and there.
I did here of a decent showing of tarpon on the beach near Jensen heading our way. It is a little earlier than normal, but bring them on!
Have a great day!
