The weather has been the big factor concerning the offshore fishing scene or lack there of. The wind today is crankin pretty good so I don’t expect any offshore reports.
Inshore the fishing has been good. Snook fishing as the season opened has been excellent. With the cooler temperatures the fish have moved into deeper water in the turning basin, inlet and the south jetty. Redtail Hawks are the lure of choice try either a pink or chartruese. Spanish Mackerel are around the south jetty as well as bluefish and few flounder.
Have a great day, Donald.
