Good morning,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Everyone I spoke with cancel led their offshore trips yesterday do to high wind. The offshore fishing had been pretty good up until then. Many boats are still seeing and catching multiple sailfish. There have been some dolphin in the 10-20 pound class around and some guys to the south have been picking away at smaller blackfin tunas. The bottom fishing has been consistent. Their have been some keeper size genuine reds on the reef and in 27 fathoms. Their are Grey’s on the reef and a few Warsaw’s have been caught in 27 fathoms as well.
Inshore, some pompano have moved into our piece of the river. Most are in the 2-5 pound class. Some of our surf fishing customers have had decent days on the beach as well. Catch and release snook fishing is still fantastic around the inlet and bridges.
Have a great day!
