Good morning,
It looks like another windy couple of days are in store. The 60 mile forecast is up to 15′ seas today, I don’t think we will be swordfishing tonight. I don’t have any kind of an offshore report (same as yesterday), due to the wind.
Inshore fishing has remained consistent even with the cool weather. Jimmy Gornto reported a 12 and a 6# snook yesterday. The larger of the two was caught on an electric chicken colored Exude and the other on a Sebille Plug. There are still some nice trout on the flats (especially close to the inlet flats). Redfish seem to be the target species for most the last couple of weeks. There are still nice schools of fish in our area with quite a few over sized ones mixed in. Exude Darts and Gulp shrimp have been working well, as are copper colored Flats Intruder Spoons.
Have a great day!
