Good morning,
We finally have a bit of an offshore report!!! The Floridian fished out front yesterday and caught in the neighborhood of 30 dolphin. It sounds like they were various sizes from smaller bailers to a few decent gaffers. It sound like a few cobia have been around as well. Rusty Varn ran out after work yesterday and broke off one cobia and saw another.
Inshore was good again yesterday. There are still some monster snook in the shallows as well as some nice reds. We went after work yesterday and caught some decent fish. The catch of the day was made by Moon Crossman. We spotted a large tailing redfish and Moon made a perfect cast with a Gulp Jerk Shad. After about a 20 minute battle we released the fish which weighed between 16-18 pounds on the boga grip. Great fish. Unfortunately we forgot the camera in the truck but we did get a few pics on the cell phone. I will try and figure put how to get them on the computer.
It looks like we should have good enough weather to fish all through the weekend. Hope you have a great day!
